Bush IAH Runway 26L Lighting Replacement
Client: Houston Airport System
Services: Topographic Surveying
Provided topographic surveying for the upgrade of the Runway 26L High Intensity Approach Lighting System with Sequenced Flashing Lights system and replacement of the Runway 8R localizer equipment shelter due to age and damage from Hurricane Harvey. The project required confined space entry into manholes and vaults and field survey conducted at night to maintain airport operations.
North Harris Couty Regional Water Authority Project 31F
Client: North Harris County Regional Water Authority
Services: Topographic, Boundary, Easement, and Construction Surveys and Mapping
Provided topographic and boundary surveys, utility research, and abstracting for the design and construction of 16 MGD Regional Pump Station and storage facility. This project will assist the Authority in securing long-term, reliable, and quality supply of wholesale drinking water for all the neighborhoods, MUDs, and municipalities within its boundaries.
New Bayport Terminal Wharf 7
Client: Port of Houston Authority
Services: Topographic and Hydrographic Surveying and Mapping
Provided topographic surveying and mapping for the design and construction of the new drilled shaft supported Wharf 7 at the Bayport Terminal. The landside surveying included Wharf 6 extending into the Bayport Ship Channel. The project included the Storm Water Quality Pond, off-site haul road route, West Empty Yard at Container Yard 7.
NASA 1 Bypass
Client: City of League City
Services: Right of Way, Topographic Surveying
Right of way, topographic and utility surveys and mapping for the design of a major thoroughfare roadway. The City of League City has partnered with TxDOT to design a new 1.7 mile roadway that will extend Landing Boulevard and NASA 1 to a roundabout as a four-lane roadway through the cities of League City and Webster, Texas providing traffic relief to the region.
Storey Lake at Mercer Botanical Gardens
Client: Harris County (Precinct 4)
Services: Topographic Surveying and Mapping
Topographic surveying in support of repairs to the gabion retaining walls, access ramp, wingwall, dock and stairs located along Storey Lake at the Mercer Botanic Gardens. The Lake officially re-opened to the public Fall 2020 after sustaining major damage from Hurricane Harvey.
